Sai Ying Pun Community Complex, Sai Ying Pun

When I think of Sai Ying Pun, the first thing that pops in my head are the endless shops selling dried fish. So I was all set to sketch those until, someone told me there is an old haunted building which used to be a mental hospital.

These were the only keywords I needed to hear, I followed him like Mary had a little lamb😂. And boy was I thrilled!!.So this is a 9 storey building built on the site of the old mental hospital. It has a lovely Victorian facade😍..Tales of ghostly sightings were spread since it was abandoned in the 1970s. Therefore, it is popularly known as “ High Street Ghost House” or the “Haunted House in the High Street”..I had a lovely sketch experience sitting in King George V memorial park, lovely cloudy weather, sending my imagination into a tizzy while I thought of all that could be!’-
